Acne Prone & Sensitive!
I often get questions about my daily skincare routine—so here's a full breakdown of what works best for my sensitive, acne-prone, and normal-to-oily combination skin.
My regimen is simple and gentle, tailored to keep my complexion balanced without irritation.
Step 1: Cleansing Balm – Clinique
Start with a rich cleansing balm that effortlessly melts away makeup, sunscreen, and daily impurities. This step ensures a clean base without stripping the skin’s natural moisture.
Step 2: Gentle Cleanser – Matcha Oat
Follow up with a gentle cleanser enriched with matcha and oat extracts. It helps remove leftover residue while calming and refreshing the skin — perfect for daily use.
Step 3: Hydrating Toner – Whitelab
This toner rehydrates and balances the skin after cleansing. It prepares your skin to better absorb serums and treatments, while also soothing and refining the complexion.
Step 4: Retinol Serum – Avoskin
Apply a thin layer of retinol serum to promote cell turnover and address skin texture, breakouts, and early signs of aging. Ideal for nighttime use with consistent results over time.
Step 5: Moisturizer – Dear Me Beauty
Use a lightweight, nourishing moisturizer to lock in hydration. This step helps maintain a strong skin barrier and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple.
Step 6: Acne Treatment Gel – Derma Angel
Finish with a spot treatment gel designed to reduce redness, target acne-causing bacteria, and speed up the healing process without irritating the surrounding skin.
Occasionally:
Exfoliating Peeling Solution – Every Monday
Gently exfoliates dead skin cells and helps unclog pores, revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath.
Mugwort Soothing Mask – Every Tuesday & Friday
A calming mask packed with mugwort extract to reduce redness and inflammation, great for sensitive or stressed skin.
Exfoliating Toner – Every Wednesday & Saturday
Helps clear out clogged pores and smooth skin texture. Regular use supports clearer, more refined skin.
These are my current go-to products that truly suit my skin’s needs. If I find anything new and effective, I’ll be excited to share it in future updates. Here's to happy, healthy skin!
